FAM STANDARD

Full length session that lasts about an hour all in one location with only one outfit to keep it simple. Includes a roll of film as well!

ONLY ON FILM

$175

A 30 minute session taken entirely on 2 rolls of film. Each roll has about 36 exposures. Film is old-fashioned and imperfect in the best ways possible!

I'M KALEIGH

I'm a family and couple photographer based out of Huntsville, Alabama! The approach I take with photography is meant to have my clients walking away saying, "that was so much fun!" while capturing art that is both creative and captivating.

Your new lifestyle photos will be unique to y'all. I try to meet my clients exactly where they are, but with a new perspective that will have you obsessed!

I moved to Huntsville back in 2019 for an engineering job (just like most of the other transplants here in Huntsville). In 2020, photography found me. By 2022, I was taking this sweet little business full-time.

Since going full-time with this career, I have had the opportunity to document dozens of weddings and hundreds of sessions!

Being a photographer has allowed me to meet new friends and create so much art along to way... I'll never take it for granted!

Okay I totally tried to squeeze all my favorites from the Oliver’s wedding into one post and it was indeed impossible…. So expect a part 2 😅

A perfect March day celebrating Mr & Mrs Oliver in front of all of their friends and family! So many hiccups were had, but you would have never been able to tell because Camryn and Chris were literally so happy-go-lucky in love and excited to be there; proclaiming their love 🫶🏼

The Smith’s portraits after their downtown elopement 🕊️🫶🏼 in true elopement style, these two signed the papers and made it offical at the courthouse with no one else present (including me). Ashlynn had a lot of San Fran City Hall type inspiration, so we decided to hit all the City Hall/Courthouse hotspots in Huntsville!

Cannot wait to see this bundle of cuties tonight for their annual family session 😭 we love wedding couples that transfer to family clients!!

When Reagan reached out about documenting her and Curt’s baby announcement, she was so over the moon excited that we set a session date within a few days of her first ultrasound. Classic Alabama fashion, the weather took that Arctic turn for basically 2 weeks 🥲 thank god we waited for 60 degree weather!

Although it’s supposed to be in the 30s tomorrow, I can feel my creativity starting to thaw and come out of hibernation!! Spring weather please come quicker 😭

So excited for these two to bring a sweet little babe earth side 🥹

Believe it or not, one of the first things I asked when I entered their house was if they had a ladder so I could take photos through the front window. Some of my favorite newborn photos of all time!

When I shared with Chad his groom portraits, I asked him how on earth he was going to hide these from Ken and the rest of the world until their wedding day. He said he had no idea… what really happened was he showed Ken IMMEDIATELY and then posted them 😂

I love nothing more than someone being so ecstatic about their photos 🥹 can’t wait to take Ken + Chad’s engagement photos this spring in Atlanta and then their Paris elopement in May 🫶🏼

It was about time for a little refresh!!

Hey hey :-) I’m Kaleigh! I want to introduce y’all to my rebrand done by my sister company - @resqueue.studio!!

Photography found me back in 2020. Since then, I have photographed dozens of weddings and hundreds of sessions! This career truthfully took me by storm, and I’m so excited to see how this little business continues to shape over this next calendar year!

For starts, I’m only taking 12 total weddings in 2026. This is a big change from the 30-ish I’ve done the last two years. Right now, I’m sitting at about 8. So if you’re wanting me to document your wedding day, I’d reach out pronto :-)

Otherwise, I’m starting to shift my business towards grads, seniors, couples, and definitely families! I’ve reshaped my packages to be a tad bit more affordable and include additional perks. I’m also introducing a new service - To Have & To Hold!

To Have & To Hold is my way of making sure my clients print their photos and hang them on their wall, but with a twist!
🎞️ Each sessions starts off with intentional planning which will allow me to help you fully style your session.
🎞️ The session includes all the mediums: digital, Instax, and film.
🎞️ At the end of the session, I’ll collect and edit what’s needed. I’ll use your questionnaire that you fill out before your session to curate a custom gallery wall for your home!
🎞️ If you’re in town, I can stop by and hang it up for you. Otherwise, I’ll ship everything with specific instructions on what to hang where!
🎞️ Going forward, you only have to book a general session (with a 10% discount because all returning clients automatically get 10% off!) to make new additions to your gallery wall! I’ll either tell you which frames to bring to your session so I can switch out the photos and mail it back, or I’ll send you new frames to add on.

I’m so exited about this service that I’m offering $150 off for those that book it between now and Valentine’s Day :-)

When everyone asks me how I got started in photography, I sing all my praises to @elisadprado! When 2020 happened, she wanted to elevate her social media presence. She asked me to run around town with her on the weekends to grab random portraits with the little hobby body I used to take photos while traveling.

She sparked my creative outlet. She was the one to say, “Kaleigh, you should really consider making this a side gig.” When I was on the brink of giving up before I really got started, she still pushed me.

Random short story - In January of 2021, I had signed up for a @liverooted_ content day. My boyfriend at the time and I broke up during the holidays, which he was going to be the one to watch my dog while I was gone in Charlotte. Since I didn’t really have a back up plan and was emotionally exhausted, I truly convinced myself that I was just going to stay home. Elisa said no way - she would go with me, we would bring my dog, and she would explore the town with my dog while I was shooting.

That content day changed my entire perspective on photography. Without that experience, I probably would have given up taking photos all together and would still be an engineer.

By April 2021, I was filing for an LLC.

By March 2022, I quit my full time job in pursuit for this dream.

Now, we’re approaching 4 years of being a full-time creative. My artsy fartsy younger self would be dancing if she knew 🥹

This career has been magical, and I’m beyoooooond amazed by the people that have been brought into my world through it. My best friends, my amazing clients, my ability to pour more time and love into my marriage and home… my gratitude is endless. 🫶🏼

Monicah is a new degree hotter!!! 🔥🎓📖!!

What better way to celebrate a diploma than a photoshoot to show off your achievement ;-) Monicah booked one of my quicker sessions (30 mins), but that didn’t keep us from getting all the creative shots!

What’s so wild is I used to baby sit Sarah and her 2 older siblings… and now here she is, graduating from college 🥹 so proud of your girlfriend, and can’t wait to hear about how much you’re going to love Texas!

I have 2 bits of news with this sessions - one bad and one good. Since this session was obviously in Indiana, I don’t have a ton of flexibility for session dates. Bloomington was super gloomy this day. Sarah’s hair didn’t handle the periods of rain very well (bad news).

But luckily, I have a secret little talent of styling hair. So, we just went back to her apartment for a few minutes so I could throw her hair up in a cute little pinned up bun (good news)!

There’s been a handful of times that I’ve helped with bridesmaids’ hair on a few wedding days. Just know that if you need help with hair adjustments, I always got you 😉

I’m so so thankful for the clients that come back year after year and trust me to document their family exactly where they’re at while creating some art along the way 🫶🏼🥹

Not much is better than running around downtown with Kasi and her crew of 4! When she inquired about taking some casual photos in the park with donuts (which barely made the cut… peek slide 19 in the bottom right), the only answer was yes 🤩

Holiday minis were SO MUCH FUN this year 🥹 I’ve received a few inquiries about families wanting to book 30 minute sessions with me for Christmas photos, and the short answer is sorry, I only offer full length sessions for families outside of my seasonal minis!

My minis are meant to be quick sessions centered around a specific activity or prompt. I put a ton of time and energy collecting items and setting things up for my minis! The 45-60 minutes of build up and tear down and money spent on rentals/props is worth it for the 5-6 back-to-back sessions over the span of a few hours.

90% of the time, my mini session clients are returning clients. This makes a world of difference because I already have spent time with these families - I know how they photograph and behave in front of the camera.

As for my general sessions, they have a very different approach. They’re centered around that family (or couple) instead of the other way around. Planning and preps looks different, and the time spent with my client is intended to be longer to reach the sweet magical spot in the session where things truly start to fall together.

Creativity and building something beautiful both through digital imagery and friendship is important to both myself and my business. I can’t reach that goal with “turn and burn” 30 minute sessions on a random weekday.

If you’re a client that wants only a quick seasonal session, I highly recommend joining my email list! Going forward, my email list will get early access to my mini sessions!!

Minis on the farm last weekend was such a success!! I’ve never felt so inspired by a set of minis in my life 🥲

One thing about family sessions, I’ll be documenting your family as a family 🫶🏼 I take so many runs through providence, so it feels so good to be able to photograph the little corners I’ve had my eyes on.

Some of the best parts about this business is getting to photograph my best friends falling in love with their best friends, which in result means I get a new best friends 🥹

HEY so these cool cats got married this past weekend 🥂🤩💍🕊️ I really need to point out that Sam did the florals herself!!! Like come on! Most of her decor was DIY, and color me totally impressed!

UGH YES Y’ALL!! We’re hopefully out of this 80-degree highs everyday! I’m so excited for sessions where we’re no longer worrying about sweating the whole time and layers can now be happily accepted instead of considered a form of abuse.

My new besties got married this weekend!! I met Kennedee and Jesse for the first time at their engagement session, but I fear that they’ll never be able to get rid of me!! This past Saturday was literally one for the books!

In all seriousness, these two are incredibly loved by all of those that were at attendance to their wedding. The amount of tears flowing during the toasts (including myself) were enough to fill everyone’s empty glasses of wine. 🥹

Huntsville botanical gardens is quickly becoming my favorite place for weddings! 10/10
